For Kelsey, Music is more than sound - it's storytelling. Her latest album, 'Everything,' is a curated journey through her life. 'This playlist is like a diary,' Kelsey shared. 'Each track represents a different chapter of my life over the past year, that as why its called 'Everything' - as it goes through all the emotions I was going through.'

When asked about 'My Boy,' Kelsey explained, 'that the song came to me during a late night jam session. It's raw, honest and a little chaotic - just like the emotions I was feeling then.'​ It's clear curating this music was an outlet for Kelsey through the heartbreak we feel listening to the album. 'I wanted the traditions to feel seamless,' Kelsey said. 'it's like a rollercoaster - you start slow, then hit the peak, and finally come down with a sense of closure.' Kelsey's album fulfils all the stereotypes of the pop genre, yet the lyrics dig deeper and go beyond the surface level. It's a combination of humour and heartbreak, with the New York Times describing it as, 'a playful album. Smart, funny, cheerfully merciless.'
